1. Service availability
Our service is available to Diplomatic individuals, Embassies, Diplomatic Missions and all International Organisations holding a privilege to purchase locally or import goods duty free (Vienna Convention 1961 or other arrangements). CDD Europe reserves a right to verify status of Customers placing order to be sure delivery can be Custom cleared as duty free. Before placing first order please send your 1/ actual status and position, 2. work location, 3. scan or photo or your ID to office@cdd-europe.com as follows: Diplo (Diplomatic Passport); NATO/ Military (SOFA card, SHAPE card, other Military ID); United Nations (UN Digital ID or copy of Ground Pass) status so we can verify and confirm your account. Please note that it some countries duty free buying privilege is granted to certain levels or functions only and local staff orders (admin, technical, drivers) may require Ambassador's approval. We advise recently appointed or new Customers to contact their admin team or MOFA to check their duty free privileges and to contact us before placing first order. We await documentation to be sent within 7 days after placing first order. Orders not followed up by documentation will be automatically removed.
2. Data security
All customer data are stored on secure servers with access protection in line with EU Regulation 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation) version OJ L 119 dated 04.05.2016 and correction OJ L 127 dated 23.5.2018, implemented across EU on 23.5.2018.
3. Orders
a. Leadtimes
Europe: 3 business days
Asia, LATAM - as per quarterly schedule
As delivering the goods on time is so important to us we announce yearly schedule of order deadlines and approximate delivery dates. Should an order come after the deadline we reserve a right to move it to next planned shipment.
b. Minimum order value
Europe: 250€
Asia: 500€
Latam: 500€
c. Changes
Order can be modified any time during online shopping, goods can added, removed or their quantity can be adjusted. Please try to place one final order. Should you need to add some more goods after order is placed please send another, separate order.
d. Completion rate
We will do our best to deliver your order fully however some products are subject to changes done by manufacturers (delistings, product replacements, pack or size changes etc). Should an item be unavailable we will contact you and offer alternatives.
e. Electrical appliances
All offered electrical appliances will be 220-240V with universal 50/60Hz frequency to meet both EU (50Hz) and Latin America (60Hz). Above requirement makes actual range of appliances much smaller but sure to operate properly in Latin America.
4. Reordering
If you wish to review your previous order and reorder all or selected items please go to the bottom of main webpage and select "YOUR ACCOUNT". Click "Orders". You can select one of your previous orders and click "Reorder" button on the right of the order line.
5. Special orders

Items not found in our webshop can be delivered upon special order (house and office equipment, garden, car spare parts, tyres etc).

6. Packing
a. Cost
Packing is free.
b. Security
All goods will be individually packed and secured for shipping.
c. Oversize goods
Oversize goods (long items as furniture, sport equipment etc) that can't fit standard pallet will be packed separately and labelled.
7. Insurance
a. Cost
Insurance is free.
b. Coverage
All goods are insured for road or sea freight.
8. Shipping
a. Cost
Shipping cost depends on region and country.
b. Carrier
We work with Hapag Lloyd, world leader in sea freight.
c. Time
Europe: 2 business days
Latam: Average shipping time is 33 days. Total lead-time of the order (incl. packing, road transportation, sea freight, road transportation, Custom Clearing and local delivery) takes usually shipping time (days) + 10 extra days.
d. Way Bill
After goods leave origin port Way Bill is generated, document confirming start of the shipping. Copy of Waybill will be sent to Customers along with the invoice.
9. Franchise
a. Filing
Right after receiving general invoice Embassy administration prepares Franchise document and files to MoFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs). Should you need any assistance pls call 58408071
b. Custom clearing
Once franchise approved by MoFA our employee picks the signed document from Embassy and delivers to Customs.
c. Cost
Custom clearing cost is 90 EUR per Embassy.
10. Payments
a. Options
Payments can be done in 3 ways:
- bank transfer to our bank account specified on invoice
- pay by link (secure bank service allowing credit card payment)
- cash (EUR only), requires pre-approval from CDD Europe
b. EUR
No local currency or bank cheques are accepted.
c. Dates
Order needs to be paid before local delivery.
11. Local delivery
a. Schedule
Schedule will be communicated after goods reach destination port and are cleared.
b. Delivery address
Default delivery address is Embassy/ Mission/ Organisation. Delivery to Diplomatic Residences are possible upon prior contact with our local Sales Manager.
c. Cost
Local delivery cost is variable depending on number of pallets and number of Embassies delivered one day. For details and payments please contact our local Sales Manager.
12. Missing goods
We check our goods after completing the order and during delivery. In case of missing goods our local Sales Manager reports to the office to be automatically added to next delivery. All missing goods will be sent in next delivery with "GAP" remark and sales value and balanced off with corresponding discount on the bottom of invoice. This procedure is required by Customs, no goods can be delivered with zero value. Should Customer not place an order for upcoming delivery missing goods will be sent to our local Manager and delivered to the Embassy.
13. Expiry dates
We do our best to deliver the freshest products available from our supplier. The minimum expiry date after receiving the goods from us should be 90 days. Some products as potato chips are produced with 4 months expiry dates and effective date remaining after delivery is min. 60 days. We recommend to plan and order stock of food products for 3 months ahead. In case of shipping or local transportation delays beyond our control (storms, hurricanes, flooding, petrol shortages, strikes) above dates can be affected. In such cases CDD Europe can't be liable for expiry date reduction.
14. Returns
Europe: free return within 14 days upon delivery. Due to specific Custom regulations no returns/ re-import from Asia or Latam is possible.
